Whether you plan a picnic or a barbeque, there has to be a glass bottle of cold water, fruit and herbs. It looks amazing and certainly tastes great!

Home made lemonade

This simple recipe is one of our favourites, because it tastes great and is easy to make in no time. It also doesn't require using a blender. Who doesn’t love a cold lemonade on a summer day. 


  • 1 lemon
  • 200ml water
  • 2 ts sugar/ agave syrop
  • 5 leaves of mint
  • Ice
  • Slices of lemon to decorate

How to make:

Heat up 50ml of water, add sugar and stir until completely dissolved. Juice all lemons. Combine with the rest of the water. Add mint and ice, stir and serve. 

Mojito Mocktail

Mint, Lime and Ice make Mojito the most refreshing drink, ideal for the summer.


  • 4 leaves of Mint
  • ½ Lime
  • 1 heaped tsp Brown sugar
  • 4 cubes Ice
  • Sparkling Water to fill the glass

How to make:

Start with cutting half a lime in quarters. Add sugar and mint  to the glass and squeeze in the limes.Mix well, add ice and fill the glass with sparkling water.

Iced Tea

During hot summer days we choose cold, refreshing drinks instead of hot tea. This black or green iced tea recipe is ideal for summer. 


  • 1 tea bag
  • 200ml hot water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 lemon squeezed
  • 1 slice lemon
  • Ice
  • Mint

How to make:

Brew tea with 1 tsp of sugar. Add the rest of the ingredients, mix and serve.

Watermelon Lemonade

This delicious combination of watermelon and lemon is ideal for summer. Make the most of the watermelon season and try this recipe.


  • Half a lemon
  • 1 tbs hot water
  • 100ml water
  • 100ml watermelon puree
  • 1 ts sugar/ agave syrop
  • 5 leaves of mint
  • Ice
  • Slices of lemon to decorate

How to make:

Dissolve sugar in 50ml hot water. Puree watermelon in a blender. Combine all ingredients. Enjoy!

Berry Smoothie

You can use local fruit that are in season or whatever fruit you have in your freezer. This easy smoothie is delicious and full of nutrients. If you make it a little thicker and add some granola, you have a great summer breakfast.


  • Half avocado
  • Half banana
  • 50ml oat milk
  • 100g strawberries
  • 50g blueberries

How to make:

Blend all ingredients together. Enjoy!
